Do I need anything special to have a medical pendant installed?

All you need is a phone line and a power point that are near each other for the devise to be put in.

Will the medical pendant stop my phone from working?
|
|
No, the Home healthcare Alarm will only temporarily use your phone line to call our response team. Once the Alarm call is complete the phones will go back to normal.

What happens if there is a power failure?
|
|
The Medical pendant has a built in back-up battery that keep the device active up to 40 hours until the power turns back on
|

Can I wear my pendant in the shower?
|
|
Yes. The medical pendants are 100% water proof and we strongly recommend that you never remove your pendant, especially in the bathroom or shower.

How far away will you hear me?
|
|
The devise has a powerful microphone and speaker and is installed in a central place in your home. We are happy to come and give you a free, no obligation in home demonstration to show you how easily you can talk to our response team anywhere in your house.

What happens if I use the devise outside?
|
|
Even when you are outside, the medical pendant will still have a range of 50 meters. However the devise is designed for inside use. If you need to use the device outside, even though you may not be able to hear the speaker, the medical pendant will alert our response team that you need assistance, and help will be sent even if they cannot hear or speak with you.

How can I be sure my device is still working?

We ask everyone to do test call every month for peace of mind. You are free to make this call at any time and it does not cost additional money to test.

What happens if I press my pendant accidentally?
|
|
